Finally it's time for a new update from the CEREKLOTH-legion.
Our album is being released on April 19th, entitled "In the midst of life we are in death" it'll be out as compact disc, download and gatefold vinyl,
and it will be backed up by some serious merch; posters, shirts, hoodies, etc.
In the meantime around 15 reviews have ticked in, almost all of them
overly positive.
Last month we sadly had to part ways with guitarist, co-founding
member and long time-friend Allan Larsen. Allan is already doing better these days and we sincerely hope he'll be back in full force in the near future.
In the last days of April we'll have a couple of tryouts amongst some competent guitarists for a live-session spot in the band.
We are currently working on new material, and the next release will most likely be a mini-album, which will solidify yet broaden the style we have created on the upcoming debut full length. Before that, we'll hopefully play a few gigs in Denmark and abroad - but nothing is settled just yet.

After a crushing summer CEREKLOTH is returning to the lions den: With great shows at Stengade, Roskilde warmup, CopenHell and Roskilde Festival in recent memory, we'll begin to record our debut full length.
All material for the album have been revised, refined and revised again - and tested live several times - so we are now impatiently awaiting the beginning of the recording process.
Drum track recordings begin at August 12.

The Cerekloth album is coming! The material for the band’s debut full length album has been ready for some time now and recording sessions are planned for the late summer of 2012. The band is always labeled as “old school death metal” but this album will show that Cerekloth is more complex than that; an eerie, sinister and melodic death metal release in which the “old school” is but an element in the dark and quite original expression Cerekloth is becoming.
Before recording the anticipated debut full length Cerekloth has some live shows of big significance:
Copenhell (14th-16th of June): the by far biggest metal-event in Denmark. The band plays at the “Pandæmonium” stage 15.30 on Saturday the 16th of June.
Roskilde Festival (4th-8th of July): the biggest music-festival in Scandinavia. Cerekloth will emerge on the “Pavillon” stage - exact time and date will follow shortly.
As a part of the Roskilde program-announcement Cerekloth will play at the Copenhagen-venue Lille Vega on Thursday the 19th of April at 19.30. This free-entrance gig will be very special as the band will appear on the same night as 5 non-metal bands, all playing at this year’s Roskilde Festival.

It has been a while since the last update from our nest of disease.
We have been keeping ourselves rather busy despite going through a few months without an available rehearsal room. Those problems have been solved and the band is back with a vengeance.
First of all, Cerekloth will perform a headlining gig on March 10 at Stengade in Copenhagen.
Support on this night will come from young death fiends Pustulation and Mold.

All material for the album was finalized a while back, and at the moment we are putting the last touches on the songs during rehearsal sessions. The album will be rather varied , have some weird and insanely dark songs while still maintaining plenty of hook lines .Rest assured that the album will be worth the long wait. Album and song titles will be revealed in the near future.
The album recordings have been pushed to early summer due to colliding schedules as well as accepting some very important gigs that will be announced in due time.
Last but not least, the gallery has finally been updated with fresh band photos.

THE HOUNDS ARE COMING:
It has been a while since the last update, but things have been busy.
The Kill-Town Death Fest gig went well and Martin Leth Andersen is now our permanent bass player.
Martin is doing a great job and the band chemistry is better than ever.
At the moment Cerekloth is putting the final details on the debut album material.
A studio has finally been found and we aim to record in the near future.
The band is also planning a split LP/CD release for 2012 as well as a few gigs.
Ancient Darkness is printing a killer limited Cerekloth zipper hooded sweatshirt. Go to the labels website to check out details (The band will NOT have copies for sale).
On a final note: Prizes on “Halo of Syringes” T-Shirts and MCDs has been lowered.
